Mel "Tom Slick" Roberson

Mel "Tom Slick" Roberson is the newest member of Steel Reserve.  Like Deuces, he is another member of Steel Reserve to join with a nickname already in place.  Tom Slick comes from a Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon from the late sixties.  "Tom was a clean-living, stalwart hero type" according to the cartoon and exemplifies that behavior on the paintball field.  Alright, I made that up...he actually got the nickname when he outwitted a band of ninjas in high school.

Tom Slick is known as a shoot first ask questions later type of player.  Sure these questions are often, "Who the hell was that guy?" but you get the point.  He brings speed with his feet as well as speed with his trigger and an excellent source of cover fire, kill fire and comical amusement.

He petitioned to be on the team via Proposition 48, as he believes all paintball teams need at least one black player.  Tom Slick came to Steel Reserve as a F.O.S. (Friend Of Steel) and after shooting Deuces in the back of the head on our first mission together, we decided to keep him and uphold the Proposition.
