Tim “Elbows” Yoder Tim first was bitten by “the ball” in the summer of 2000. His first gun was a Spyder TL. Danny Gunz introduced Tim to paintball and he’s been hooked on the adrenaline ever since. Tim’s first scenario came in the summer of 2002 at Challenge Park in Joliet. He followed that up with a scenario in the fall of that year at Sherwood Forest in La Porte, IN. Stories of these first two games are what drove several other members of Steel Reserve to join. Tim is the medic of Steel Reserve. Undaunted and unfazed by the barrage of paint that sometimes is getting thrown around in the vicinity of one of his fallen comrades, Tim is known to charge into a bad situation with reckless abandon at times. He has also victoriously taken on the role of general. Tim’s nickname is a result of him being the only person Steel Reserve has seen break not only one, but two, of the supposedly “unbreakable” elbows. Also, he has a 6 inch scar on his own elbow from the time he broke that several years ago (that incident caused him to be out of paintball for the entire 2001 season).
